Winemaker’s notes:
Drew 2019 GSM The Field Blend The field planting from Valenti Ranch is picked all at once and vinified together along with a touch of Viognier for some aromatic lift. The McDowell and 877 from the Perli are blended in later. The fermentation was 100% native yeast using 100% whole clusters. The end result is a cool climate blend showing black and red fruits, crushed pepper, cured meat, orange peel, sage and a touch of floral violet. A lean cool climate blend showcasing the Mendocino Ridge coastal terroir.
