Jorge Ordoñez 2011 Victoria Nº2 (375mL)
100% Moscatel de Alexandria | Alc: 13% – Sweet, Rich and Creamy
Malaga, Andalucia, Spain

Winemaker’s notes:
Ordoñez 2011 Victoria Nº2 has a brilliant yellow hue. Fresh and intense, with a mix of sensations of freshly peeled apple, orange peel, bee pollen and aromatic herbs. Concentrated, fat but refreshing. Long finish.

Nº2 Victoria is great with foie gras and cheese, especially strong cheeses with a lot of character. Also excellent with ice cream desserts and strawberries.

Critical Acclaim:
“From the same winery as the dry Botani, the incredibly perfumed, floral 2011 Victoria No. 2 is a delicious dessert wine that possesses about 13% natural alcohol. Made from 100% Moscatel de Alexandria, 17 pounds of grapes are required to make one 375 ml bottle. This raisiny, rich, thick dessert wine’s fragrance could fill a large room. This amazing creation should be served chilled at the end of a meal with nothing next to it. It should last for 6-10+ years.” 95 Pts – Wine Advocate

Pale green-gold. Expressive aromas of pit fruits, candied ginger, honey, minerals and white flowers. Lush but clean and bright, with bracing acidity giving sharp definition to the complex flavors of honeyed peach, ginger and orange. Brisk, harmonious acids add bite to a lush, silky and intensely sweet finish.” 92 Pts – Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar
