Winemaker’s notes:
Merieau 2013 ‘Bois Jacou’ Gamay de Touraine has a silken texture with flavors of ripe cherries, plums and strawberries. Supple and delicious. 40-60 year old Gamay from a single block of vines, harvested by hand. Fermented and aged in tank for 8 months before release. “Le Bois Jacou” is the name of the parcel. Pure and rich, it represents an astounding value in Touraine and the Loire as a whole!

Food Pairing: Lamb, vegetarian dishes, chicken, goat cheese
