100% Pinot Noir | Alc: 13%
Yamhill-Carlton District, Willamette Valley, Oregon

Winemaker’s Notes:
Gran Moraine 2019 Yamhill-Carlton Pinot Noir has aromas of blue Raspberry candy, soy sauce, lilac, wet soil, tamarind, Earl-grey tea, blood orange. Flavors of tangerine, pomegranate, sassafras, saffron, pipe tobacco, spruce tips, Himalayan blackberry. Lively acidity up front with energetic and youthful tannin structure. The mid palate transitions seamlessly into a long and dark fruit driven finish. Acidity pulls forward off the finish creating a perfect paring opportunity for rich earthy food

Critical Acclaim:
“Aromas of dark strawberry and stone with some orange-peel undertones. Medium to full body with a solid texture of pure tannins and a fresh finish. Curated and focused. Sustainable.” 93 Points – James Suckling

“A vibrant red that’s multilayered with raspberry and tart cherry flavors that are accented by crushed stone and dusky spice notes, building tension toward medium-grained tannins. Best from 2030.” 93 Points – Wine Spectator

“An aromatic mix of toasted hazelnuts, blackberry fruit spread, nutella and peanut butter opens into an inviting palate with generous fruit and well-tempered tannins. The moderately low alcohol in no way detracts from the flavor, and subtle details of spice and herb that higher alcohol often conceals are here to discover.” 92 Points – Wine Enthusiast Editors’ Choice
