Description

Domaine Lafage 2018 Lieu Dit La Narassa
92% Grenache, 8% Syrah | Alc: 14.5%
Côtes du Roussillon, Languedoc-Roussillon, France

Winemaker’s notes:
La Narassa is sourced from the famed black schist soils of the Agly valley in the northern Roussillon near the village of Maury lending the wine classic notes of black fruit and intense minerality. It is made in a semi-ripasso by harvesting the Grenache in successive passes picking only the ripest clusters. The result is a rich, crowd-pleasing style with impressive texture and generosity of fruit.

Pairs perfectly with cured meats, hearty pasta dishes, grilled and roasted meats and vegetables or a in a glass by the fireplace.

Organic!

Critical Acclaim:
“Almost all Grenache yet with 8% Syrah, the deep purple 2018 Narassa gives up a gorgeous bouquet of blueberries, kirsch liqueur, smoked game, violets, and lavender. It’s rich, medium to full-bodied, beautifully concentrated, and has a great finish.” 93 Pts – Jeb Dunnuck
