Chateau Pegau 2019 Pink Pegau
70% Cinsault, 20% Grenache Noir, 10% Carignan | Alc: 12.5%
Côtes du Rhône, France
Chateau Pegau 2019 Pink Pegau is the little princess of the Castle, the Pink Pegau Cuvée puts on her salmon dress introducing freshness and spices from the Rhône Valley. Distinguishing itself from pool rosés, Pink Pegau reveals its full potential around a summer meal with family or friends. Like the women of Château Pegau, the Cuvée Pink is an alliance of elegance and character through a blend of Cinsault, Grenache & Carignan. Grapefruit, peach and redcurrants with fresh acidity and a good length. Bone dry.
Wonderful as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to dish such as cod in a cream sauce. It will also pair well with vegetables in a creamy sauce, serve at 12°C.
“The latest edition of Laurence Feraud’s Pink Pegau, the 2019 Vin de France Rose offers up gently herbal notions of raspberries and alpine strawberries, white peaches and hints of citrus and white chocolate. It’s a medium to full-bodied rosé, with enough punch to partner grilled meats, yet still refreshing enough to be served on its own.” 90 Pts – Wine Advocate
