Oh, Cabernet Franc, how I adore you, you adorable and underloved cute lil’ bowl of grapey goodness!  The Bel Canto is a 67 Cab Franc/25 Merlot/8 Petite Verdot blend… and it’s from Seattle!

Wines in Seattle?  That’s right, another one, and another powerhouse red.  This is concentrated cherry and spicy and herby red with that understated majesty of a Franc.  Call me a Francophile, I guess, but I could drink this all day if Dona would tell me where the keys to the wine cellar are hiding.
